New edition of the Blend: Film & Games conference in October 2025!
After last year's extremely successful edition, the conference that brings together the worlds of film and gaming is returning with an even richer program and under a new name – Blend: Film & Games. Until recently known as Blender: Film & Games, the conference has been renamed this year to more clearly highlight the increasingly present and dynamic models of collaboration between these two creative sectors.
The second edition of the conference will be held on October 2 and 3, 2025 at the Algebra Bernays University in Zagreb. The decision to extend the duration from one to two days was made as a direct response to numerous inquiries and suggestions from last year's participants, thus opening up space for even more content, networking and inspiring conversations.
The conference organizers are Games Croatia, a project of the Croatian Audiovisual Center (HAVC) and the Zagreb Film Office, while the Academic Partner is Algebra Bernays University. This strong cooperation ensures the relevance and quality of the program, which will once again bring together key stakeholders from the world of film and video games.
Visitors can expect an even richer program, including more panels, workshops and case studies, as well as a larger number of international guests - experts who bring their experiences from some of the most innovative productions and projects on the global scene.
The Blend: Film & Games conference will once again be a place for meeting, exchanging ideas and initiating new creative partnerships - a point of convergence between two worlds that are increasingly intertwined.
